Confidentiality When Clients Share Your Content Online
Their screenshot of your Zoom. Your story about them. Two rules.

They will screenshot the Zoom. You will want a story. Testimonials already need permission. This is the rest: their post about you, your post about them. Take it to supervision if you’re unsure. SEO does not need their face. After you hold the room, the room still leaves with phones.
Two Rules
- Theirs — they may post their experience. You don’t police their story. You do ask them not to post other members.
- Yours — no client detail online without a written yes, including “a client once…” that they would recognize.
The Line
“You’re free to talk about your work. I’m not free to talk about you. In group: no other names, no screenshots of other faces.”
Where Coaches Break
- Vague case studies that are obviously one person.
- Asking them to delete a grateful post. That’s control, not ethics.
The 3-Minute Action
Add the two rules to the working agreement. Send them to current clients once. Stop drafting the “anonymous” story until you have a yes.
