How to Collect Testimonials That Actually Sell
Social proof is the cheapest conversion lever you're not using. A system to collect real client testimonials on autopilot.

Coaches say “I don’t want to brag.” Meanwhile prospects bounce because nobody else will vouch for you. Modesty is expensive.
Ask at the Peak, Not the End
The best moment to ask is right after a win — a breakthrough session, a client result, a “this changed everything” message. Not at contract close. Not never.
The 3-Question Template
Send this the day after a win:
- What were you struggling with before?
- What’s different now?
- Would you recommend me to a friend? Why?
That’s a testimonial with before/after/proof. No thinking required from the client.
Where Coaches Stall
- Waiting for clients to offer (they won’t).
- Asking for “a review” (too vague).
- Never putting them on the site.
The 3-Minute Action
Pick one client who just had a win. Send the 3 questions. Paste the reply on your homepage this week.
Ask while the win is warm. Then put it on the site — the renewal sequence is what the proof is for.
