Challenge Without Confrontation
Permission, data, question. Three lines that raise the bar without a fight.

Confrontation is you needing to win. Challenge is the experiment they already agreed to, said out loud. Use it after the Q4 cadence has protected the hour.
The Three Lines
“You said I could push on this.” “The last two scores are flat and the send didn’t leave.” “What would a smaller send look like by Thursday?”
Permission + data + question. Not a speech. Not the discovery close.
How to Get Permission Once
In session 1: “When I see the work stall, I’ll name it. That okay?” Write the yes. That’s the first line forever.
Where Coaches Break
- Challenging their character. Challenge the dated behavior.
- Skipping permission so it feels like an ambush.
The 3-Minute Action
Write the three lines with one client’s real data. Use them once this week. If you skip the permission line, you confronted.
