A ritual for identity shifts when the KPI is flat. Not a new metric.
When the score is flat and something still changed, name it. This is not the energy override. It’s a qualitative win: they said no, they sent the ugly draft, they stayed in the room. Put it next to the number. A testimonial can wait. If they’re about to pause, the named win is what they take.
The Ritual
“The score is a 5 again. What did you do this month that the old you wouldn’t have?”
Write their sentence on the recap under the score. That’s the invisible win, now visible.
How to Keep It Honest
One sentence. Their words. If they can’t name one, don’t invent it. Flat is allowed.
